How is Soocio different from other apps?
We focus on verified in-person meetups, not swipes or DMs. Every event is tracked, reviewed, and powered by a community of people who actually show up.
Is Soocio a dating app?
Nope. Soocio is not just for dating, it’s for meeting new people in your area to do things you enjoy: hiking, brunch, art shows, game nights, and more.
Using the App
How do I join an activity or event?
Just scroll through the map or list view, tap on an activity that interests you, and send a request to join. The host approves who attends.
Can I create my own events?
Yes! Once you complete your profile, you can create public or private events for others to join. You’re in full control of who gets approved.
How do you prevent fake profiles or ghosting?
All users are verified, and ratings can only be left by people who actually attended the event. This keeps the community trustworthy and active.
Safety and Trust
Is it safe to meet people through Soocio?
Yes. Our app includes a Safety Check-In feature, a mandatory safety disclaimer, and ratings/comments only after verified attendance. We also recommend only meeting in public places and using your own transportation.
Can I report someone for inappropriate behavior?
Absolutely. You can flag profiles or comments directly in the app. We take moderation seriously and act quickly.

What is a Founder’s Icon?
Founder’s Icons are limited-edition status badges that show you were here from the beginning. They give your profile extra visibility, perks, and bragging rights.
What do I get with a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Icon?
Each tier includes different perks like visibility boosts, priority placement, access to the Founder’s Wall, premium time, and private community groups. Gold offers the highest status and longest benefits.
Will my Founder’s Icon expire?
No. It’s a one-time purchase and you keep your badge and benefits permanently (including time-limited premium perks stated in each tier).
Premium Features
What’s the difference between free and premium accounts?
Free accounts can explore, apply, and attend events. Premium accounts unlock more visibility, a profile badge, and exclusive perks like private groups and the Founder’s Wall.
Can I upgrade later?
Yes, you can switch from Free to Premium anytime. And if you already bought a Founder’s Icon, that includes premium time too.
